The cost of producing a custom designed challenge coin, golf divot tool, golf ball marker, golf hat clip, sunshade, patch or other item depends on the quantity, size, and custom features. Contact us for a quote on a custom project.
Artwork and Design:
All of our artwork, design, and layout is done in-house by our artist so that we can create the most dynamic custom designed challenge coin. We do not charge for artwork as long as an ordered in placed within 90 days of the completion of the artwork. Artwork produced by Sunshine Sports is owned and copyrighted by Sunshine Sports and can’t be used without written permission or consent.
Packaging
All coins come with a plastic sleeve with an insert. Custom Inserts are available for purchase that detail the specifics about your challenge coin, company, or special event.
HISTORY OF CHALLENGE COINS
During WWI pilots carried medallion coins with them as a show of respect, loyalty, oath, and camaraderie for their unit. This tradition came about after a pilot was shot down, captured, escaped & then thought to be a spy at the front lines where they were going to execute him. The only ID the pilot had to prove his identity was his coin, which saved his life. Ninety years later this tradition still continues. Soldiers, police officers, firefighters & paramedics risk their lives everyday for our safety. They carry their coin as a personal token symbolizing this devotion & allegiance to their unit and service to the public. |
